Jeffrey Dahmer, oh boy, where do i even start with this guy. He's like the nightmare version of a character you’d expect to find in a dark, twisted horror movie, but unfortunately, he was very real.
Dahmer, known infamously as the Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster, was responsible for the murder and dismemberment of 17 young men between 1978 and 1991.
His horrific acts included not just killing, but also necrophilia, cannibalism, and the preservation of body parts – stuff that's way beyond a normal person’s imagination.
So today, I'm looking at why Jeffrey Dalmer killed.
So, why did Jeffrey Dahmer kill?
Well, it's believed that his actions were driven by his borderline personality disorder.
Now, I want to be clear that not everyone with BPD is violent, but it can cause significant emotional dysregulation and rigid, black-and-white thinking patterns.
For Dahmer, his fear of abandonment was so intense that it led him to commit these horrific acts.
He described his urge to kill as a compulsion, an irresistible impulse that he had no control over. This compulsion is a common trait in individuals with BPD who have experienced traumatic events like abandonment. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health issues, please know that help is available. Any GP can point you in the right direction.
Wo, you're probably wondering why he had sex with his dead victims right?
So, apparently, when he was just four years old, he had this double hernia operation, and it was pretty aawful. People who are into weird stuff like this often say that they had some messed-up experience with their sexuality when they were young. After his operation, he became more introverted and reserved than he used to be, which could have affected his social life. He even asked his parents if the doctors had chopped off his balls, which sounds pretty painful and traumatic. So, it's possible that his crappy experience contributed to his later deviant sexual behavior. It's no secret that the stuff that happens to us when we're young can mess us up for a long time.
The sexual preferences of Jeffrey Dahmer have been a topic of considerable interest in the context of criminal psychology.
It has been observed that Dahmer's initial inclination was to engage in light sexual activities such as hugging, kissing, fondling, and rubbing with a living partner. However, his poor social skills made it challenging for him to pursue this preference through conventional means.
In his pursuit of this desire, Dahmer attempted to create "zombies" by rendering his victims unconscious or dead.
This allowed him to engage in sexual activities without the need for social interaction.
It is important to note that Dahmer's actions were non-consensual and resulted in the loss of numerous innocent lives.
The subject of Jeffrey Dahmer's crimes remains a topic of great significance in the field of criminal psychology, and continues to be studied in order to better understand the factors that drive individuals to commit heinous acts.
At a young age, Jeffrey Dahmer's mind began to conjure up dark and twisted fantasies that would later drive him to commit heinous crimes. During his adolescence, he developed a fascination with taxidermy and would often practice his skills by dissecting the bodies of roadkill.
This hobby served as an outlet for the true horrors that were going on in his imagination, and may have been an early indication of the horrors that were to come.
But let's be real, no amount of psychological analysis can fully explain or justify the horrors Dahmer committed.
His actions were the result of a perfect storm of personal, psychological, and social issues that culminated in a terrifying way.
In the end, Dahmer's story serves as a chilling reminder of the depths of human depravity.
It's a story that's been retold in movies, documentaries, and books, each trying to make sense of what's essentially senseless – a human becoming a real-life monster.
It’s like trying to understand the plot of a David Lynch movie on a bad internet connection – no matter how much you try, some parts just don't make sense.
I have actually done a video on this monster that you can watch on my YouTube channel.
